Lake Eola in a fiery night

It was a cloudy and wet night when I decided to take this picture. Normally I would have waited for clear skies and dry grounds. However, my time window was closing rapidly since I had to catch a bus back to Gainesville, FL in less than two hours. I decided to take a chance. I propped up my cheap tripod and let the exposure reveal the picture. The cool thing about long exposures is that you are never truly certain what you are going to get. This picture is no exception. Probably one of the most surprising pictures I have ever taken as far results and definitely one of my favorite.
